翻译这本书有几个原因：
* 第一是书里所讲的内容确实有用，尤其是对于既想做技术，同时希望能发挥领导力的技术人员（比如我）是有实际指导意义，我自己对本书的很多内容也是有切身体会
* 第二是翻译本身是一个很好的学习过程，比自己粗略阅读要深刻的多，也是英语的机会
* 第三是书本身的质量很高，写得也非常易读，而且实体书颜值巨高，装帧跟排版精美华丽，所以非常想分享给更多的人。强烈建议有机会的同学一定要入手实体书。
书中有一些常见的词语因为翻译成中文反而会丢掉本意，所以会直接保留英文原文。比如工作中经常会用alignment这个词，一般是特指去矫正正在做的工作和目标（比如OKR）的偏移，但是翻译成中文『对齐』的话似乎有点过于宽泛。其他的例子还有Staff engineer、Tech Lead、Ownership、Context等等。
